“I love coming to camp! Coach Lique motivates me to have grit and never give up” – 3rd grade camper
Angelique Boccara – Founder and Executive Director
Angelique has coached High School basketball for 15 years. She started her coaching career working as an assistant to her former coach at SI, Julianne Guevara (SI Class of “94) at St. Joseph Notre Dame High school. She then went to serve as Asst. Coach at Urban high school of San Francisco. Currently Coach Lique is the Assistant Coach of the Varsity Women’s Basketball team at St. Ignatius High School. In addition, Coach Lique has coached for both the SF Rebels, and the OC AAU girl’s basketball programs.
When she is not coaching basketball, she leads a global Concierge Service which serves some of the largest credit card brands, fortune 500 organizations, and financial institutions. Angelique also runs her own basketball program and leadership nonprofit, “She Got Game” which works to develop women leaders through basketball instruction and competitive play. Lastly, Coach Lique spends a lot of time caring for her nephews, Semaj and Gabriel whom she adopted several years ago.
Coach Lique’s love for the game is unmatched, but her greatest passion is to see the impact the game has on the lives of the young women who play for her.
